Laura Cardenas, E.I.T.
Laura Cardenas holds a Materials Engineering Degree from the University of Duisburg-Essen (2008). During her studies in Germany she gained valuable experience in the steel industry, including areas of metallurgy like metal refining, alloy development, optimization of material properties and process ability. Past work experience includes working in the EPC environment where she was heavily involved with material selection, process design, as well as review and development of welding, NDE and various other procedures. Currently Laura is mentored by Budd Melvin in chemical applications involving corrosion and is committed to building upon her experience.
