Paul A. Manuel, P. Eng. (NB)

 

Paul Manuel is a consulting welding engineer with a Dipl.T in Mechanical Technology and an MSc in Welding Engineering from Cranfield University (UK) in 1976. Paul is also a certified C.Eng. achieved through the Engineering Council in the UK and was elected as a Fellow of The Welding Institute, UK in 1990. Paul has over 40 years domestic and international experience in welding related industries in roles ranging from sales and marketing, education, QA/QC, fabrication of offshore and steel structures and pressure vessels, research and development projects, quality assurance and surveillance, pipeline engineering, operations and construction projects and oil sands utilities and offsites projects. These experiences also include over 20 years at various levels of management. In 1999 Paul incorporated Crantek Quality Services, Inc. which he continues to operate. In addition, Paul is part owner of two hot tapping companies. Paul has considerable international experience in direct work projects and presentation of technical papers at conferences. These countries include USA, UK, Thailand, China, Japan, Chile, Brazil, Germany, France, Sweden, Austria, Italy and the Netherlands.
